P>Mindless HR At a recent seminar on infrastructure financing, a top executive of a construction company suggested that the project managers and project directors of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) be called project champions instead — this, he said, would give them a sense of involvement in the projects.

Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Kamal Nath was clearly not too impressed, so he said, with a big grin, “I’ll be having a meeting with them shortly. I’ll ask them how they feel about being called champions.”
