15 ITBP personnel get police medals on R'Day

The awardees include Commandants Ajay Pal Singh and Sandeep Khosla who rendered a variety of duties to maintain internal security.

Those awarded with distinguished service police medals include Inspector Jairam Singh and Satya Singh.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) guards the 3,488 km long border with China and is also deployed for anti-Naxal operations besides VIP security duties.
