3 drown after car falls into canal in Raj

Three persons drowned while another went missing after the SUV they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into an irrigation canal in Baran district today, police said.

The incident occurred when the victims were on their way to Baran city from Mangrole town.

Rishikesh (35), Lokesh (18) and Sonu Saini (35) were drowned while the another person was rescued.

"One man is still missing and is feared drowned," Additional SP Baran Manoj Chaudhary said.

Rescue work is on to search the missing person, he added.
