Acting helped me overcome my stutter: Bruce Willis

'Die Hard' star Bruce Willis has credited acting with helping him overcome the severe speech impediment he struggled with as a child.
The 57-year-old action star said he had serious trouble getting his words out during his youth and it wasn't until he tried his hand at acting that he noticed a big difference, reported GQ magazine.
"The Cub Scout years, I had a terrible stutter. I thought I was handicapped. I couldn't talk at all. I still stutter around some people now," Willis said.
"But then I did some theater somewhere, probably in high school. And when I memorised words, I didn't stutter, which was just miraculous," he added.
