Aditya Thackeray thanks governor for appointing pro-VC

"It was a courtesy call by Aditya, who thanked the governor for appointing a pro vice chancellor and registrar for University of Mumbai," a Raj Bhawan spokesperson said.

Earlier this month, Aditya had met the governor and the chief minister, seeking the ouster of vice chancellor Dr Rajan Welukar, blaming him for the problems faced by the students of the University in the last few days.
