With an eye on the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, BJP has decided to strengthen its booth level organisation, considered the key organisational structure to win elections.

"Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections, the party's state executive committee decided to strengthen its organisation. The party will appoint three dedicated workers known as Tri-Shakti at every booth," BJP state unit general secretary Rajendra Singh said.

The 'Tri-Shakti' would consist of booth level president, booth in-charge and booth level agent, he said adding that the party has formed 40,000 Tri-Shakti out of over 62,000 booths in the state.

The party will hold a conference of 'Tri-Shakti' to reach out to every voter with the development message of the Central government, he said while briefing reporters after the end of the first day of BJP's two-day state level executive committee meeting here.

Singh said the party's structure at district, block and panchayat level would also be strengthened in all the 243 Assembly constituencies.

The party has also appointed its dedicated workers as "vistarak" to all the 243 assembly constituencies, he said.

BJP national president Amit Shah had asked the state party's core committee members last month to strengthen booth level organisation.

The BJP-led NDA in Bihar comprising LJP, RLSP and HAM(S) had won 31 of the 40 seats in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

In his inaugural speech, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan talked about the schemes started by his ministry and the Central government.

Out of 2.20 crore BPL families in Bihar, 41 lakh have already been benefited by the 'Ujjwala' scheme and the figure would reach 2 crore by the end of 2018, Singh said quoting Pradhan as saying.

The power ministry has set a target of providing power connection to 4 crore households by 2018, he said adding that around 9 crore people have been benefited by MUDRA yojana.

Pradhan also gave details of heads under which the special package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore, as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be spent for state's development.

The political resolution will be passed in tomorrow's session.
