Bullet-riddled body of man found in Kupwara district

The bullet-riddled body of a man was found in Kupwara district of north Kashmir today, police said.

The body of Shahnawaz Ahmad Khan (32) was recovered from an orchard at upper Naghama village in Handwara area of the district, a police spokesperson said.

A case of murder has been registered and investigation is underway, he said, adding the body has been handed over to the family members after completion of legal formalities.
