Copper futures slip on domestic cues

Copper futures traded 0.25 per cent lower at Rs 437.60 per kg in futures trade on Friday after speculators reduced their exposure.
On Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery fell by Rs 1.10, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 437.60 per kg in 1,004 lots.
Similarly, copper contracts for November delivery traded down by 95 paise, or 0.21 per cent, at Rs 443.35 per kg in 1,538 lots.
Globally, copper traded 0.02 per cent lower at USD 5,880 per tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
