Hindi daily 'Dainik Bhaskar' has launched an initiative under which it has started publishing stories about people whose perseverence and persistence helped make a difference in the society.

The newspaper has launched 'Zid Karo Duniya Badlo' where every Friday it showcases stories about people who have refused to go with the flow.

"And they are not doing it for themselves but for the entire mankind...Like when naxalites killed a man, his wife took an oath to ensure 100 per cent voting to root out naxalites...A courageous man stood up to offer himself for the testing of Ebola vaccination...," a statement by the daily said.

Starting January 29, every Friday Dainik Bhaskar will carry content about various kinds of 'Zid' (resolve) and their positive impact on the society, it said.

Earlier, the newspaper has started a 'No Negative Monday' to highlight positive stories.
