Stamp vendors of the national capital will soon be able to get their licences online as Delhi government is going to introduce a software for the purpose, officials said today.
"This software has been prepared by Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd. (SCHIL). After launch of this software, stamp vendors would get their e-licence in a prescribed time," Divisional Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary (Revenue) Shri Dharampal said.
He said that the Delhi government in recent past has taken wide ranging initiatives to provide hassle-free delivery of services to the people.
The government will introduce Authorized Collection Centre vendor licence system through which applicants will be required to submit their applications online in two phases.
"ACC Vendor License is for issuing license for empanelment as Authorized Collection Centre (ACC) for generation and distribution of e-Stamp Certificate of Lower Denomination below Rs. 501/- through Stock Holding Corporation of India," Dharampal said.
