A 23-year old man and his father were killed when their two-wheeler was knocked down by a lorry at Rajapalayam in the district today, police said.
T Ravi, working as an engineer in Chennai, came to Rajapalayam this morning enroute to his native Nakkaneri.
His father Thangachamy (62) picked him at the bus stand and both were heading to the village by the two-wheeler when the mishap occurred.
Both died on the spot, police said adding they have arrested the lorry driver Sanjeevi Rajan.
