Floods, mudslides kill 22 in Sri Lanka

Officials say at least 22 people have died in Sri Lanka from two days of floods and mudslides triggered by unusually heavy monsoon rains.
The Disaster Management Centre said today that one person was reported missing and eight others were injured. About 2,500 people were forced to flee their homes to temporary camps.
Roads and railroads were flooded in several areas, disrupting transport.
