Four members of a family were today injured when a fire broke out in their kitchen due to gas leakage at an apartment complex in Vidhyadhar Nagar, police said.
A woman who was seriously injured, was rushed to SMS hospital in the city, while three others were taken to a nearby Kanwatia hospital, they said.
The family members were busy in pre-marriage ceremonies when the fire broke out in their kitchen, police said, adding that a fire tender team doused the fire within half-hour.
Household goods were not damaged in the fire as the it was restricted to the kitchen, they said.
