Girl child murdered

found near Udyog Vihar today.

The girl, who could not be identified, was suspected to have been raped and then beaten to death, said a police officer adding her neckbone was found broken.

She might have been killed a couple of days ago and her body was thrown in bushes, the officer added.

Her postmortem would be conducted tomorrow and only then it would be confirmed whether she was raped or not before being murdered, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Maheshwar Dayal.
