Handpump poisoned

A water handpump was allegedly

poisoned by some unidentified miscreants at Nemdarganj Bazar in Bihar's Nawada district today.

As locals smelt stench from the water from the handpump and informed police, the cops sealed the pump, police said.

A sample of the water has been sent for test in a laboratory in the state capital.

Police launched a probe.
