Himachal Lokhit Party for CBI probe into pulse scam

"Owners of the firm involved in the scam are relatives of a BJP leader, who is a trusted aide of an MLA," HLP spokesman Mohinder Nath Sofat told reporters here.

Demanding arrest of the owners of the firm, he alleged that even after the real culprits have been pinpointed, the government was trying to shield the guilty.

Sofat accused ruling BJP of disfiguring walls and pavements along the national highway by writing slogans and urged the Election Commission to take cognisance of actions of the party in power ahead of polls.
