Ilayaraja visits Mookambika temple

Eminent music director Ilayaraja has offered worship at the Shri Mookambika temple at Kollur in Udupi district.
He offered special pujas and took part in the 'Navagraha Poorvaka Chandika Homa Sankalpa' yesterday, temple sources said.
Temple executive officer T R Uma, superintendent Ramakrishna Adiga and others received Ilayaraja on behalf of the management. Temple priest Shridhar Adiga led the rituals.
Ilayaraaja has been a devotee of Mookambika and visits the temple at least twice a year. His daughter's marriage was conducted at the temple a few years back, the sources said.
