Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today demonstrated and demanded immediate dismissal of the Omar Abdullah government for seeking partial withdrawal of AFSPA from some parts of the state.
Led by its senior vice-president P K Ganju, JKNPP activists raised slogans against the government and accused Omar for advocating partial withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from some parts of the state.
The party is also demanding re-organisation of Jammu and Kashmir and constitution of a state delimitation commission.

JKNPP also condemned the recent killing of policemen and Army jawans in Srinagar.
Ganju urged Governor N N Vohra to intervene under section 92 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, which vests power on the Governor to dismiss the government if it is not functioning in accordance with the Constitution.
The party later submitted a detailed memorandum to the Governor in this regard.
