Kerala Tourism to take part in Arabian Travel Mart """

: Kerala Tourism, led by" state minister, Kadakampally Surendran, will be participating in the Arabian Travel Mart in Dubai in a bid to increase tourist arrivals from the Arabian region.

The mart will conclude on April 25.

Statistics reveal that the tourist arrivals to Kerala from the Middle-East have been increasing with visitors from UAE going up by 2.64 per cent last year as against the previous year.

Visitors from Kuwait saw an increase of 14.33 per cent during last year and"Oman 5.75 per cent, a press release said.

The Kerala minister held discussions with local tourism players and presented before them the significance of travelling across Kerala.

He also met and held talks with Sri Lanka Tourism Minister, John Amartunga and Maharashtra Tourism Minister, Jaykumar Rawal among others.
