Kesha's mother is upset about her daughter's scrapped set at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA).
After news about the cancellation broke, Pebe Sebert took to Twitter to vent her frustration and call out the judge who refused to release the singer from her contract with her alleged rapist Dr Luke's Kemosabe Record, reported Ace Showbiz.
"So are Keshas constitutional rights being violated now, judge Lady? Does every adult woman need a mans permission to do what she loves? Do you think that there is one male singer who could ever be 'not allowed to sing' on the Billboard Awards by another man???" Sebert wrote, slamming a New York judge who recently said of Kesha's case, "Every rape is not a gender-motivated hate crime."
"My daughter's record company wants her to fail and be broke from them dragging her through court for as long as they can," she continued and then asked other BBMA performers to boycott the forthcoming awards show, adding, "Wouldn't it be nice if other artists stood with Kesha and refused to preform if she is not allowed to sing!"
Kesha was forced to cancel her appearance at the 2016 BBMAs after rumors began swirling that she's going to address her ongoing battle with Luke with her performance.
