A local BSP leader was shot at in Rabhupura area here today, police said.
Dal Chand was admitted to a hospital where his condition was stable. The bullet hit his leg.
The Faleda resident Chand had fought pradhan elections too.
Today morning, the BSP leader along with his family members was returning from a temple, when some men attacked their car with sticks.
Thereafter Dal Chand's brother and supporters reached there and a clash occurred between the two groups, the police said.
Opponents fired shot which hit Dal Chand.
He has lodged an FIR against four accused Devesh, Dagga, Lalu and Vir Singh.
