A man was electrocuted and two children were injured after a short-circuit in a transformer at a village in Reasi district today, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Bashir.
Two children suffered minor injuries and several electronic devices were also damaged in various houses.
"There was a major short-circuit that damaged a transformer in Gabbar village at 7 am," a senior police officer said, adding the power supply in the village was disrupted.
