Man sets wife on fire

A woman was burnt to death

allegedly by her husband in Deeng area of the district, police said here today.

The deceased Anita had complained to the police that her husband used to drink alcohol and physically abuse her.

Yesterday also there was a fight between them after which her husband Sanjay sets her on fire, police said.

Anita was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed during treatment, they added.
