Monnet Ispat & Energy Q1 net loss widens to Rs 400 cr
Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd today reported widening of its standalone net loss to Rs 400 crore for the quarter ended June 30 2017.
Its net loss stood at Rs 358.73 crore during April-June quarter of 2016-17, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company's total income also declined to Rs 349.44 crore in the reported quarter, compared to Rs 436.29 crore in the year-ago period.
The firm's total expenses were at Rs 701.88 crore, as against Rs 785.62 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 31.65 on the BSE, down 1.86 per cent from previous close.
