The committee comprises of Principal Secretary and Secretary of Small Scale Industries, Khadi and Gramodyog, Principal Secretary Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Food and Civil Supply, a statement said.
Director of the State Food Processing Department has been named the member secretary of the committee.
Under the national mission on food processing scheme, the state committee would initiate the activities required for setting up food processing units.
