A 17-year-old girl was allegedly sexually exploited by a youth for a month on the pretext of marrying her, police said here today.
The accused took the girl to Ghazipur district where he exploited her for a month, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Jha said
The SP said that when police mounted pressure on the accused's family, he yesterday brought the victim back and was arrested while he was trying to flee.
The accused was sent to jail today and the victim's medical was being conducted, he added.
