Three persons of a family were today killed and two others injured when a car they were traveling in lost control and hit a tree near Ethaulia village in Jaidpur area here, police said.
Tanvirur Rehman (42), his son Atif (20) and daughter Sania (8) were killed on the spot in the mishap that took place when he was going to Lucknow, they said.
Rehman's daughter and wife were seriously injured in the incident and were rushed to the hospital.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for post-mortem.
