Two arrested for attempting to murder woman village head

Two persons have been arrested for attempting to murder a woman village head at Dholra village here.

The woman, Chanderkala, was shot at on February 10 and was admitted to a hospital. Seven people had been booked in this connection, according to Superintendent of Police, Rural, Alok Priyadarshi.

Two people -- former village head Baburam and Nikhil -- were arrested yesterday and search is on for the remaining five accused, he said today.
