U'khand PCC for CBI probe into Delhi police officer's killing

Uttarakhand Congress today demanded a CBI probe into alleged killing of Badrish Dutt, a Delhi police inspector from Uttarakhand, who had tapped phone conversations of cricketers and bookies in the IPL.

Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Spokesman Dhirendra Pratap met Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna and made the demand saying that Dutt was murdrered in Gurgaon soon after he unearthed the scandal.

Demanding an inquiry by the apex investigation agency into Dutt's mysterious killing, Pratap asked the Chief Minister to take personal interest in the matter and ensure that his family was duly compensated.

Dutt (45) hailed from Kotdwar in Uttarakhand's Pauri district.
 

The Delhi police inspector and his female friend were found dead with gunshot injuries in the latter's residence in Gurgaon on May 11.
