'Vijayshaurya' wins the Deccan Chronicle Cup

Deshmukh trained 'Vijayshaurya' ably ridden by P S Chouhan won the Deccan Chroncile Cup (about) 2400 metres for Category I horses the main event on the 20th day of Hyderabad Winter Races held here today.

Trainers Deshmukh and Prasad R scored a double each while trainer P S Chouhan scored a treble.

Four first favourites obliged in a card of seven events.

In the Second Race (The Deccan Chronicle Cup) fourth place was not declared as 'Vijays Jet' which went lame and could not completed the race.
