Woman depressed over health issues commits suicide

A 28-year-old woman working with a software company here allegedly committed suicide after apparently being depressed over her health condition, police said today.

The deceased, Sandhya, hanged herself to the ceiling fan in the bedroom of her house in KPHB area here last evening, sub-inspector M Rajaiah said.

She was found hanging by her mother when the latter returned home from work.

A suicide note was found at the spot in which she purportedly stated that she was depressed over her heart problem and took the extreme step, the SI said.

A case was registered under section 174 of CrPC, he added.
