Woman, her two children hurt in train hitting jeep in fog

A woman and her two children were badly hurt when a train hit a jeep which did not see the train coming while crossing through an unauthorised passage due to fog in Bihar's Jehanabad district today.
Jehanabad Rail police officer in-charge Shakunta Kishtu said the jeep which was crossing through an unauthorised passage in Tennibigha under town police station did not see the train due to dense fog and was hit by a MEMU Passenger train.
The injured have been admitted to sadar hospital here, the OC said.

The driver of the Jeep jumped out before the train hit it and fled from the scene, the OC said.
The woman with her two children were on way to their native village Maukar from Raja bazar area of Jehanabad, Kishtu said.
