Accord With Pak Likely

India and Pakistan were ''very close to reaching a final agreement" on all major issues, an elated Pakistan foreign secretary Shamshad Ahmed said yesterday after a marathon six-hour session with his Indian counterpart, Salman Haider, on the third day of the foreign secretary level talks between the two countries. The document was expected to be finalised late at night and released today in the form of a joint statement. Replying to a query on whether the final outcome of the talks would be positive for both the countries, the Pakistan foreign secretary said "When the joint statement is released, you will see smiling faces."
