Excess Funds

The NCAER has collected the first part but without enough researchers, is finding it hard to collect the balance. Unemployed or underemployed economists may please apply to Rakesh Mohan, the new D-G of the NCAER, who we hear may be joining either the Tariff Commission or the Disinvestment Commission as member secretary.

The Expenditure Commission, meanwhile, is going to consist of politicians only. It will be interesting to see what it recommends.
