Microchip Technology Inc of Chandler, Arizona, has opened a design centre in Bangalore to support design and development efforts for the company's integrated circuits, embedded circuits, applications and local sales operations. Microchip plans to hire up to 50 design engineers, engineering managers and related support staff for the India Design Centre in the next three years.
