Power Projects

As many as 20 large and medium power projects are awaiting environmental clearance, Union minister of state for power Y K Alagh said yesterday. At the launch of energy management Centre Information Service here, Alagh said that the parliamentary standing committee has approved the Transmission Bill and it would be introduced in Parliament soon. He also informed the government would come up with energy efficiency bill to introduce energy conservation systems and practices at the user level.
