The bank currently has about 10 branches in Mumbai that have installed the card reader where the holder can withdraw or deposit money which will be instanteneously debited or credited to

his account. The bottomline here is the fact the holder has to be a Dena bank account holder. The bank now proposes to instal these machines in major shopping centres in the city. To begin with it is planning to target the Akbarallys chain of shopping centres.

Here again the establishment has to have an account with the bank so that as soon as the card is swiped through the machine the card holders account with be debited and the establishment account will be credited with the bill amount.
