Tefal To Expand Portfolio, Eyes Brand Buys

The finance ministry has objected to the establishment of a separate road board to administer the funds raised from levies on petrol and diesel. The ministry of surface transport had proposed the creation of the board in its draft bill.
The two separate levies on diesel and petrol had already been imposed by the last two budgets presented by the finance minister Yashwant Sinha.
The finance ministry has also objected to the shadow pricing methods proposed by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), official sources said. The finance ministry has stressed on project viability, implying that it was prepared to accept only direct tolling proposals.
