| Excelsoft Technologies, a provider of e-learning solutions, has set up a new facility, adjacent to its current development centre in Mysore. |
| The facility has a capacity to accommodate 200 software developers by March 2007. Excelsoft's current development facility in Mysore houses about 300 people. |
| D Sudhanva, CEO, Excelsoft, said apart from serving overseas customers, the company was actively engaged in supporting universities in India in providing technology-enabled education. |
| "Several educational publishers, universities and corporates world-wide have benefited from using Excelsoft's e-learning solutions. We are also partnering with educational publishers in India to provide solutions in this sector. The expansion will fuel our future growth plan," he added. |
| Some of the organisations which use Excelsoft's e-learning solutions include Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU), Singapore Polytechnic, Wolters Kluwer, Pearson Education, World Bank and Royal New Zeleand Navy. |
| Besides Mysore, Excelsoft has a development centre in Hyderabad. Recently, the company won a 'certificate of excellence' from the Karnataka Government for software exports from secondary cities in the state. |
