HCL ties up with four colleges

HCL Technologies has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with four colleges in Bangalore, as part of its Campus to Corporate career development programme to develop the next generation of corporate community.

The colleges are Bangalore-based PES Institute of Technology, R V College of Engineering, Mount Carmel College and Jyoti Nivas College.

The company has introduced GoPro, an initiative to build up the next generation of professionals. The company aims to use its Campus to Corporate programme as a bridge to the corporate world, and would help to hone, inculcate and develop qualities and capabilities among youngsters to sustain the corporate challenges and environment.

"Owing to the extremely competitive world and industry's value-driven approach while deciding on the workforce, it has become imperative for the youngsters to be developed in all aspects of a profession. HCL's GoPro initiative will help students to mould their talent as per the requirements of the corporate world and develop capabilities to face the challenges of the corporate," said Ravi Shankar, Global Head, Talent Management Group, HCL Technologies.
