Hexaware starts operations in Japan

Hexaware Technologies today announced the inauguration of its new office in Tokyo, Japan.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, Malcolm Mehta has been appointed the country head for Japan.

"The company has already won two large deals in Japan. Both are large organisations with IT spending of multi-million dollars per year. The company has also identified partners who would be working to provide on-site resources and account management while the company provides the offshore expertise," the release said.

"The revenue from Japan operations this year will be close to a million US dollars. We expect it to  grow more than 100% y-o-y  in the coming three years," Yogen Shah, senior vice president (APAC), said.
