Michael Gallup joins Satyam

Hyderabad-based Satyam Computer Services Ltd has appointed Michael Gallup as the senior vice-president of its energy and utilities vertical business unit.

Prior to joining Satyam, Gallup was associated with Deloitte Consulting LLP, USA, as the director of the utilities practice for over three years.

He was also associated with global consulting firms such as Cap Gemini Ernst &Young as vice-president, and with Ernst & Young LLP as a partner.

In his new role, Gallup will focus on adding value to the existing and new customer relationships, and identifying and developing high-end partnerships in the energy and utilities area, a company press release said here today.

He will provide leadership in building new capabilities, enhancing industry-specific service offerings and expanding Satyam's global footprint, it added.
