Realising the increasing demand for IT professionals in Mysore, the Haya Career Zone will launch a one-year post-graduate diploma course in career management in Mysore.
During the one-year course, the Mysore-based career development academy will train IT job aspirants in areas like IT, HR, marketing and administration, academy CEO Vinil Kumar said on Tuesday in Mysore.
"The academy has tied up with 15 companies including MNCs like IBM, Wipro and Hewlett Packard (HP) for placements and will train students to meet their skill requirements," he said at a press conference.
The training will also cover English language and communication, the lack of which came in the way of graduates from securing jobs though they had the requisite qualifications.
The cost of the course will be Rs 40,000 and the intake 100. Efforts are on to secure recognition from the University of Mysore and a US institution for the course.
Haya is engaged in software development as well as training and hence has experienced faculty, Kumar said.
