SQL acquires SolutionNet's consulting biz

SQL Star International Ltd has informed that the company has, through its subsidiaries, acquired the consulting business of US-based SolutionNet Group.

SolutionNet Group is a 10-year-old US-based consulting and product group with an annual turnover of approximately $5 million in consulting. It has onsite consulting businesses spread over the US, Australia and Singapore.

As per the acquisition deal, the company's wholly-owned US subsidiary SQL Star International Inc will be taking over the consulting business of SolutionNet, US, whereas the Singapore business will be taken over by the company's wholly-owned Singapore subsidiary International SQL Star Pte Ltd. The Australian business of SolutionNet group will become the Australian subsidiary of the company.

Raj Ganti will head all the global businesses as the chief executive officer. The Indian business will continue to be spearheaded by Narendra Shukla.
