Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

German Green Steel and Power Ltd will hit the primary market on September 25 with a Rs 304-crore initial public offering (IPO), as the iron and steel maker seeks funds to expand its manufacturing capacity and invest in renewable power.
In a public announcement, the Gujarat-based company has fixed a price band of Rs 132-139 per equity share for its IPO, which is scheduled to close on September 29.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 290 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 10 lakh equity shares valued at Rs 13.9 crore.
At the upper end of the price band, the issue size works out to around Rs 304 crore.
The company has reduced its issue size as the earlier IPO plan comprised a fresh issue of up to Rs 450 crore and an OFS of up to 20 lakh equity shares.

Samsung India Electronics profit declined 36 per cent to Rs 7,228.10 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, according to a RoC filing by the consumer electronics major.
However, its revenue from operations rose slightly by 1.2 per cent to Rs 1.12 lakh crore in FY26, according to financial data accessed through the business intelligence platform Tofler.
Samsung India Electronics reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,11,183.40 crore on a consolidated basis for FY25, and its profit stood at Rs 11,287.50 crore.
Its total consolidated income, which includes other income, was Rs 1,14,738.60 crore (1.14 lakh crore) in FY26.
