Jadeja–Rahul rebuild with vital stand

With India under pressure, Ravindra Jadeja joined Rahul to steady the innings. The pair put together a valuable 73-run stand for the fifth wicket, rotating strike and keeping the scoreboard moving. Jadeja contributed 27 off 44 balls before falling to Michael Bracewell.

Rahul holds firm as support comes and goes

Unfazed by the wickets around him, Rahul shifted gears in the closing overs. He reached his eighth ODI century and finished unbeaten on 112 off 92 balls, ensuring India closed at 284 for 7 after 50 overs—competitive, but leaving the contest finely balanced heading into New Zealand’s chase.
