Comedian Hannah Gadsby is returning to Netflix. The star will soon treat her fans with the upcoming comedy special titled 'Douglas'.The 41-year-old announced on Monday night that the comedy special will stream globally on Netflix in 2020, reported Variety.Gadsby appeared at Netflix's FYSEE event to discuss her special 'Nanette', a stand-up comedy act, which was released on the streaming platform in 2018."I'm so excited to announce today that Douglas will be released on Netflix in 2020," Gadsby said."I'm really enjoying touring with the live performance, but there will be places in the world that I won't be able to visit, so it's wonderful that Netflix will bring the show to every corner of the globe," she added.She spoke to Variety ahead of the event to talk about what the viewers can expect from the special."I think you can't expect. The first Cannes look of the 'Pirates of the Carribean' actor Johnny Depp as a war photographer is out. Depp has been joined by Japanese actor Minami to feature in the drama 'Minamata'.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the drama which is being directed by Andrew Levitas witnesses Depp essaying the character of acclaimed war photographer W. George R.R. Martin slams rumours about final 'Game Of Thrones' books

American author George R.R. Martin rubbished "absurd" rumours about intentionally delaying publication of final two books of 'Game Of Thrones', till the television series ends.Multiple media outlets reported that actor Ian McElhinney, who played the role of Ser Barristan Selmy on the popular series 'Game Of Thrones' until season 5, told a fan convention that Martin has actually finished writing the books 'The Winds of Winter' and 'A Dream of Spring' but had struck an agreement with 'GOT' showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss to not publish the books until the show was complete."George has already written Books 6 and 7, and as far as he's concerned there only are seven books. But he struck an agreement with David and Dan, the showrunners on the series, that he would not publish the final two books until the series has completed," the actor was quoted as saying by Entertainment Weekly."So if all goes well, in another month or two we might get Books 6 and 7, and I'm intrigued to know .

'Bond 25' shooting suspended after Daniel Craig's injury: report

The new James Bond film has hit another roadblock after lead star Daniel Craig's injury reportedly resulted in a suspension of shooting. According to The Sun, Craig fell while sprinting on the "Bond 25" sets in Jamaica last week and has been flown to the US for X-rays that has led to the hold of the filming. Citing an unnamed source, the publication reported that the actor was shooting one of his final scenes in Jamaica. "He was sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell quite awkwardly. He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle," the source said. It is currently unknown how long the production might be delayed, the newspaper reported that the shooting at London's legendary Pinewood Studios, which had been scheduled to begin at the end of the week, has been cancelled. This is not the first time Craig, who performs his own stunts, has sustained injury on a Bond film sets. The actor had two teeth knocked out during his first stunt scene for his Bond debut .

I contractually maintain to not endorse tobacco products, says Ajay Devgn after fan's appeal

A week after a cancer patient urged Ajay Devgn to stop advertising tobacco products, the Bollywood actor on Tuesday said he makes a conscious effort to not promote anything that impacts the society negatively. Nanakram, a 40-year-old cancer patient from Rajasthan, had made a public appeal to Devgn to discontinue his association with tobacco products in the interest of the society. The patient's family said that he was a fan of the actor and used the same product which the actor advertises for, but now realises that tobacco has had an adverse effect on his life. Devgn told PTI he is in touch with the fan and even contractually maintains he will not promote tobacco. "I have always maintained in my contracts that I am not promoting tobacco. Whatever the ads are, they are of ilaaichi (cardamom) and my contract says it will be non-tobacco. So if the same company is selling something else, I don't know what to do," he said. Actors Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramirez will be joining the crew of "355", directed by Simon Kinberg. CPWD asks officials to shoot videos of its infra projects, explain importance with voice-over

The Central Public Works Department has directed its officials to make short videos of some of the infrastructure projects it has completed, with a voice-over explaining the significance of the "iconic buildings". The agency has written to senior officials, asking them to provide videos of such projects across the country by May 25, a CPWD official said Tuesday. It has listed some of projects it completed in the recent past such as Sadaiv Atal Samadhi in New Delhi; National Salt Satyagarha Memorial in Dandi; and Dr B R Memorial in Delhi. Sadaiv Atal Samadhi, a memorial of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was inaugurated on his 94th birth anniversary on December 25 last year. CPWD also stated that the videos of these completed iconic projects should be of 3-5 minutes with voice-over providing information them.
