Consortium of 6 top Australian universities to set up campus in Gurugram

A delegation from a consortium of six top universities in Australia on wednesday expressed a strong interest in setting up a campus in Gurugram to offer undergraduate courses, said a Haryana government statement. The delegation was led by Deputy High Commissioner of the Australian High Commission Nick McCaffrey and it met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini here. Realty firm Emaar India will invest around Rs 1,000 crore to construct a new luxury housing project in Gurugram amid strong demand for premium residential properties. The company has launched a new project 'Amaris' at Sector 62 in Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram. "We have launched a new housing project in Gurugram. We are getting a tremendous response from customers," Emaar India CEO Kalyan Chakrabarti told PTI. NCLT directs initiation of insolvency proceedings against Raheja Developers

The National Company Law Tribunal has directed to initiate insolvency proceedings against realty firm Raheja Developers on a petition filed by flat allottees of its Gurgaon-based Shilas project. The NCLT said Raheja Developers has a "debt due and default" against the flat allottees, who had made their payments and delivery of the units was not on time and referred it for Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). DLF to invest Rs 8,000 crore to build super-luxury project in Gurugram

Realty major DLF will invest around Rs 8,000 crore to develop an ultra-luxury housing project in Gurugram as it seeks to encash strong demand for premium homes. Last month, DLF did a pre-launch of its 17-acre super-luxury housing project 'The Dahlias' at DLF 5, Gurugram, after obtaining all regulatory approvals and has received a good response from customers. The company will develop around 420 apartments in this project, which is the second ultra-luxury offering from DLF after the successful delivery of 'The Camellias'. According to sources, DLF will invest around Rs 8,000 crore over the next 4-5 years on the construction of this new project, comprising nearly 50 lakh square feet of area. Realty firm Signature Global has awarded a Rs 1,203 crore contract to Capacit'e Infraprojects Ltd to construct its housing project in Gurugram. In a statement on Sunday, Signature Global said it has awarded the construction contract for its premium residential project 'Titanium SPR' at Sector 71, Gurugram. "The contract worth Rs 1,203 crore has been entrusted to the renowned construction company Capacit'e Infraprojects," it added. Spanning 14.382 acres, this project has a total of 608 units. The company will develop this project in two phases. Out of the total sales potential area of 3.7 million sq ft in this project, Signature Global launched the first phase, comprising 2.1 million sq ft, in June 2024. Realty firm Godrej Properties has won a bid to acquire 7.5-acre land in Gurugram to develop a luxury housing project with a revenue potential of more than Rs 5,500 crore. In a regulatory filing on Friday, Godrej Properties said it has emerged as the "highest bidder for a luxury group housing plot on Golf Course Road in Gurugram with a revenue potential in excess of Rs 5,500 crore." The company has secured the Letter of Intent to develop a group housing plot at Golf Course Road through an e-auction conducted by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP). The plot, measuring 7.5-acre, has a development potential of over 1.7 million square feet, comprising luxury residential apartments of varied configurations. Realty firm Emperium Pvt Ltd will develop a 40-acre township project in Yamunanagar and a housing project in Gurugram over the next three years with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 775 crore. ED surveys Ramprastha Group premises in money laundering case in Gurugram

The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches at multiple locations of real estate company Ramprastha Group in Gurugram on Wednesday as part of a money laundering investigation linked to alleged cheating with home buyers, official sources said. The ED case stems from a clutch of FIRs filed by the local police against the company by "disgruntled homebuyers for non-fulfilment of the promise of handing over the (housing) projects to them", the sources said. Realty firm Godrej Properties has won bid for two residential plots in Gurugram costing Rs 515 crore and will develop luxury homes worth Rs 3,400 crore on these land parcels. In a regulatory filing on Monday, Godrej Properties informed that it has "emerged as the highest bidder and has secured the Letter of Intent to develop two group housing plots at premium locations in Gurugram through an e-auction conducted by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP)". The combined bid value for both plots is Rs 515 crore, it added.
