The International Cricket Council is expecting a sell-out crowd for at least the first four days of the World Test Championship final between India and Australia at The Oval in London from June 7. The ICC has also kept a reserve day for the title clash if weather plays spoilsport. "We have been working very closely with the local organising committee (ECB) to ensure it is a great spectacle for the fans. We are expecting full crowds for each of at least the first four days. We know we are heading in the right direction. "It has created huge interest in terms of fans, and two best teams in the world will be slugging it out, it is set be a fantastic event. "We hope the weather stays clear so we can get the full amount of cricket, though we have a reserve day to make up for lost time," said Wasim Khan, ICC general manager of cricket, in a select media interaction. Former head coach Ravi Shastri feels that Ajinkya Rahane was a certainty to make the Indian squad for the World Test Championship final against Australia once Shreyas Iyer was ruled out due to lower-back stress fracture. The WTC final will be played at the Oval in London from June 7-11. Shastri, who coached the Indian team for six out of seven years between 2014 to 2021, sarcastically commented that people who presumed that the former India captain made it to the Test team on basis of three IPL knocks, "must have been on holiday when he scored 600 plus runs in domestic cricket." "I'm so glad he's made it to the side. He batted beautifully in these two-three games he's played in the IPL, has looked in great touch. And let's not forget the experience he has. The moment Shreyas Iyer was injured, you had to look in that direction," Shastri told ESPN Cricinfo. Rahane's pedigree is such that he always had a shot, considering his contribution as a skipper to one of India's greatest Test .

Indian star batter Virat Kohli, who ended his century drought in Tests with a patient 186 against Australia here, on Monday said he's not in a "space where I will go out and prove someone wrong". Kohli endured a painful wait of more than three years to notch his Test century number 28, the knock helping India finish with 571 in reply to Australia's 480 in the drawn fourth and final game. "The expectations that I have for myself as a player are more important to me," Kohli told the official broadcasters after being adjudged Player of the Match. "I am not in a space now where I will go out and prove someone wrong. I also need to justify why I am there on the field," Kohli, who now has 75 international centuries, said. "I think in Test cricket I wasn't able to play with my tempo and template that I have played with for the last 10 years for awhile now. So that was the one thing I was trying to do. I felt like I was batting really well from the first innings in Nagpur." Kohli admitted
