Kannanur Lokesh Rahul is an Indian cricket who bats right-handed and occasionally dons the wicketkeeping gloves for his team. Rahul was part of the Indian U-19 team that played the 2010 World Cup. He made first-class debut in the 2010-11 season for Karnataka. He is only the third Indian batsman to score a century in all the three formats of international cricket. 
 
ODI career
 
Rahul made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on June 11, 2016. He became the first Indian to score an ODI century on debut and helped India win the match by 9 wickets. Rahul has so far scored 317 runs in 13 matches at an average of 35.22, with a century and two half-centuries.

 
T20I career
 
Rahul made his T20 International (T20) debut against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on June 18, 2016. He was dismissed for a golden duck in his debut match and became the first Indian batsman to get out first ball for zero in a T20I match. He scored the fastest T20 century (46 balls) for India against West Indies in the United States. He is also the first player in T20 history to score a century while batting at the number 4 position or lower (110*). On 3 July 2018, Rahul smashed his second T20 hundred against England. He is also the first Indian batsman to be dismissed hit-wicket in T20s. Overall, in 27 matches, he has scored 879 runs at a staggering average of 43.95 and a strike rate of 149.24, with 2 centuries and five fifties.
 
IPL career
 
Lokesh Rahul started his Indian Premier League (IPL) career for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as a wicketkeeper in 2013. In 2014, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bought him for Rs 1 crore at the player auction. Then he again returned to RCB in 2016, and he scored 397 runs at an average of 44.11. He missed the 2017 season due to a shoulder injury. In the IPL 2018 players auction, Kings XI Punjab bagged him for a whopping Rs 11 crore. He started the season with a bang, smashing Sunil Narine’s record for the fastest IPL fifty in 14 balls by taking one ball fewer to reach his 50. Overall, in 67 matches, he has scored 1,977 runs at an average of 42.06 and a strike rate of 138.15, with 16 fifties and a century, his highest score in 100 not out.
 
Test career
 
K L Rahul made his Test debut against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground on December 26, 2014. Later, in his second match, he scored 110 runs at Sydney Cricket ground while opening the batting. Rahul has so far scored 1,905 runs in 34 matches at an average of 35.28, with 199 being his highest individual score. He has 5 centuries and 11 fifties against his name.
